Subject: name of a vietnamese hardwood

I'm looking for the name of a vietnamese hardwood. All I know is that
they make furniture out of it, it's very hard and heavy, and dark red
like rose wood. Any ideas?

I believe it is Pterocarpus cambodianus - Padauk or Thonong.
